We make every effort to provide the best possible service for all its passengers. That is why we place special emphasis on our flights for disabled passengers and have designated a special unit to be responsible for assisting these passengers.
EL AL flights for disabled passengers departing from Ben-Gurion Airport:
Passengers are requested to use the special unit check-in counters, numbers 98-99 in section D.
At counters 98-99 they will be assisted by members of the special unit as they go through flight check-in. Buggies, wheelchairs and other equipment are available at these counters for the passengers' use. We will be happy to be of assistance, through this special unit, to passengers requiring medical flights: arrival by ambulance as well as stretcher transport.
EL AL flights for disabled passengers arriving at Ben-Gurion Airport:
A passenger escort awaits passengers at the entrance to the plane – based on passenger information sent by telegram from the departure station – to escort these passengers from their seats on the plane, through border control to the luggage retrieval hall and to the arrivals hall.
*Passengers are requested to remain seated on the plane until a ground crew representative arrives.
* It is very important to inform your travel agent or the reservation center, well in advance, so that we can make the necessary arrangements and provide the best possible service.
