Preferred Seats

 

 

Economy Class Preferred Seats

 

 

 

An Economy Class Preferred Seat is a seat with improved legroom due to its location near an exit seat or a bulkhead.

These seats are assigned according to a priority list and without payment to Top Platinum, Platinum & Gold members and one accompanying passenger.

Bulkhead seats are allocated to parents flying with babies up to nine months old (free of charge).

The Economy Class Preferred Seats that remain available at check-in time will be sold for money to other passengers registering for the service.

Preferred Seats can be ordered during check-in at the El Al cash desk in the airport at a cost of:

·         $39 for a flight segment lasting no more than 05:30 hours.

·         $59 for a flight segment lasting more than 05:30 hours.

 

 

Passengers younger than 15 years, Infants, expectant women, those in need of a wheelchair, those accompanied by a pet, or in need of medical supervision are disqualified from occupying seats adjacent to the emergency exits.

 

Payment Method

 

By credit card (Visa, Diner’s, Mastercard and American Express) at the El Al cash desk in Terminal 3 at Ben Gurion Airport or at the desk of the shift manager overseas.

 

 

Business & First Class Preferred Seats

 

Business & First Class Seating Service enables passengers to sit in Business or First Class seats, when the Class is not offered for sale in its standard format.

The inflight service provided conforms to Economy Class standard.
The service is offered for a fee, during the check-in procedure at the airport, and is subject to availability.
The service is available on selected flights.

The price of a Preferred Seat in Business Class is $100 for a flight segment.

 

The price of a Preferred Seat in Business Class:

·         $200 for a flight segment lasting no more than 05:30 hours.

·         $500 for a flight segment lasting more than 05:30 hours.
